Meeting Great People Wherever I Go

I’ve spent a good deal of time traveling this summer. Most recently to New York harbor, Jamaica Bay and other boating venues around the city. I’ve been to Central New York, Wisconsin, Iowa, Maryland, DC,Virginia, Chicago and a host of other places. The goal, as always, is to spread the gospel of the Inland Boater nation and to meet all of the great boaters who enjoy the boating lifestyle. If I haven’t visited, I’ve been on the phone with folks from Detroit (shout out to E-Dock and Friends and to my man Jay) to Texas where BBA is King and California and from Arizona to Georgia and the great state of Washington.
One thing in my travels is made clear over and over again — there are unbelievable numbers of people enjoying the boating lifestyle and they are all warm, friendly and all about boating.  Sure they enjoy boat tests, but what they enjoy more is the lifestyle and the ability to share it with boaters of all kinds, all over the country. Every Yacht club is open and inviting and eager to share.  I’ve been able to motor, sail and even paddle wheel. I’ve heard what our subscribers enjoy and what they want more of.  Believe me we’re listening and future issues of Inland Boater Magazine will deliver.
It’s been a great summer and as we look forward to the fall boating season I want to encourage all of you to keep those stories and opinions coming. Just email whatever you would like us to hear to . We can’t wait to hear from you!
