Are boats a big bargain now?

Anyone who boats knows that being on the water is an expensive habit.  Did you ever think you would see a day when boating got cheaper?  Well that day is here.  The economy has poked such a hole in the marine market that boats are actually a good deal now.  If you have a little disposable income you might look into it, especially in the used boat market. Everybody is making deals though.  I’ve been in touch with a few of my new boat dealer friends and they will be so happy to see you, you can just about name your price. As for the used boat market there are those boats that are being sold by brokers and those that are being sold by owners.  All are offering low prices just to get those boats sold.  Sooo...the smart boat buyer does just what the smart home buyer does — get out there and get the biggest boat for the least money.  Then sit at the dock and wait for fuel prices to come down. Hey even if you can’t cruise on it right away, it still makes a heck of a place to party.  And being on the water beats staying at home. Call me if you need company.
