I used a cupped brass brush with my Ryobi grinder. The combo cleaned away the remnants of the barnacles and left a nice shine. I put new zincs on and everything was looking god when I left the boat. Man spring prep is a lot of work!! No sign of my first mate either. Boat goes in the water this week. Nice thing though is the ride from dry dock to my slip. Only about 20 minutes total. But it’s really nice crossing Herring Bay in early spring.
