Hello to all!

I’ve been out of pocket for a while and I guess I should explain why. Last Sept. I was laid off from my job and after some subtle prodding...lol from the wife we have relocated to Hattiesburg, MS. Yes thats right Mississippi. Considering that the move was made in the winter, I’m absolutely loving it right now. Come summertime though I’m sure the bear in me will come out for all to see! We are in a great area for me to learn about a new level of boating as we are about an hour from the gulf coast. My boat is still in Michigan but I’ll be coming home in March/April to get her and then the adventure will begin. I know we have some gulf boaters here so any advice you can give would be great! Salt...I’ll be in touch with you when I come back to town and hopefully you’ll be workin on Salt and Pepper by then. You are all welcome to get a hold of me at anytime via email and we can exchange #’s there. Take care!

Jason

you can stay at the dock to save fuel and drink beer....but you would still have a GPH problem!

Sorry to hear that you lost your job here in Michigan Jay but It sounds like you found yourself a good home there in Mississippi and thats good.  smile We will keep in touch for sure either through here or by exchanging numbers.. Be careful boating out there on the gulf.. It can be a bit more daunghting then boating on the Detroit River. You may want to talk to some of the guys on here about salt water boating.. I’m not sure what or if anything you may have to do to your cooling system because of the salt water.  smile

Brains,
Hope you find great boating in Mississippi. Definitely stay in touch.  It’s a real winter where I am.  twenty-six inches of snow a week ago, followed by 10 this week. Destroyed part of my canvas.  You won’t have those problems where you are.
