Guidelines
1 - Refusal to abide by these guidelines, may result in your post being removed and temporary or permanent revocation of membership.
2 - You may not use this forum to advertise or promote your product, company, internet site, or service. If you wish to advertise please contact Inland Boater for rates and permission. Forum posts, classified ads, or personal pages that advertise or promote products, sites or personal services will be removed. Sites that reference a project or contain pictures or diagrams, etc. that promote boating safety, projects or repairs are permitted.
3 - Do not post your real name & address, email address, or other personal information. Please do not ask members of this forum for personal information. Please do not respond to anyone asking for personal information in this forum.
4 - Free speech is not an excuse for irresponsible behavior. Personal attacks, racist, sexist, obscene or derogatory posts will not be tolerated.
6 - THREAD ALTERCATIONS – Members of this forum are free to respectfully disagree. However, posts that escalate into all out war between posters will be removed. Warring parties will be admonished. Inland Boater moderators will not be a party to settling disputes in forums.
7 - TARGETING OTHER MESSAGE BOARDS - Please do not post your anger at other message boards by naming them. A moderator will delete these types of posts with no warning.
8 - PROFANITY - Profanity and other language that exceeds the limit of good taste is not permitted.
9 – Adult Material – Posting of adult material or material not suitable for the general public is prohibited. Members who post nudity, inappropriate materials or links to same will be barred from the forum immediately and without consideration or warning.
10 - DIRECT LINKS - Direct links will be allowed after March 1, 2008. Please understand that this does not include SPAM, and please remember to support iboats Mega Mall.
11 - COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT - Proper credit must be given to the authors of original material posted on this site or copied from this site to another. It is an infringement of copyright of this board to take posts to another board and also a breach of confidentiality. If you wish to show a post from here on another board then a link should be provided.
12- Spam - Spam will not be permitted in any form.
